Baled materials are fed into the machine by chain conveyor or forklift, then torn and loosened by high-speed rotating spiked rollers. During tumbling and striking, the tightly pressed paper sheets are separated into loose pieces, while large dry impurities such as iron wires, plastic ropes and sand fall through the sieve holes and are discharged. The loosened paper is then conveyed evenly to the drum pulper or hydrapulper for the next pulping process.

The machine adopts a sturdy welded steel housing, wear-resistant spike teeth and double-shaft or multi-roller breaking structure to handle bales with different densities and moisture levels. The roller speed and gap are adjustable to control the breaking degree and avoid over-crushing.
